Lions Club of Mukono Host Constructs Waiting Shed for Patients at Church of Uganda Hospital Mukono
As part of its commitment to improving community welfare, the Lions Club of Mukono Host donated and constructed a new waiting shed at Church of Uganda Hospital Mukono.
The project was implemented and donated during the 2025–2026 Lions year under the leadership of Club President LN Paul Mudduse MJF. The waiting shed served as his signature service project, reflecting his commitment to delivering practical and meaningful support to the community.
The facility was officially unveiled during the installation ceremony of the club’s new leadership, marking a significant milestone in the club’s service journey.
The newly constructed waiting shed provides a safe and comfortable space for patients and caregivers waiting to access hospital services or preparing to leave the hospital. It is especially beneficial to community members travelling from distant areas, providing them with a place to rest as they wait for transport.
This project reflects the Lions Club of Mukono Host’s commitment to serving communities through practical initiatives that improve the well-being, comfort, and dignity of people.
Through projects such as this, the club continues to demonstrate the Lions motto:
We Serve.
